Escape from bad coffee and stale cake
at family reunions or other sunday traditions
to juicy sunday afternoon concerts at OKNO

Sunday November 18th, 16h at OKNO HQ
Jeroen Uytendaele (BE)

As a Master in Art Science student in Den Hague, Jeroen Uytendaele extends his experiments in sender-receiver feedback systems.
By integrating old fashioned, discarded technology with contemporary digital techniques, he searches for new forms which are neither nostalgic, nor blinded by cutting edge hype.

Isjtar will join in on the fun for a collaborative performance.

Shelbatra Jashari (BE, KS)

Double laureate of Courtisane festival Shelbatra Jashari moves away from her usual medium film to the more abstract sound.
For this performance, she fuses her newly obtained skills in algorithms and synthesis. Generative rythms and textures are the focus of the performance.

Several Performance Lab sessions by Isjtar around synthesis and electronic music take on the form of assistence to Shelbatra to help her in this transition.
