ATK! Revolutions
ATK! Revolutions was commissioned by Opera house De Munt / La Monnaie, inspired by the important role of the Opera house in the Belgian Revolution, specifically the showing of Auber’s La Muette de Portici.
Revolutions is a new phase of the ATK! project where we move more towards immersive installations rather than music performance with added lights.
The construction of dramatic moments happens on a circular trajectory, with a fusion of light and sound as equals. Much like the Mute herself, there is no voice.
The site-specific installation can run by itself, driven by advanced generative algorithms, but it can also be performed.
